On 23rd of September,2016, the University of Ibadan will witness a great discussion and Training session for 100 Student leaders, the focus of the day is training on how to use "Social Media as a tool of protest as against physical protest".

The training is for Departmental Presidents, Faculty Presidents,SRC members and Students Union Executives.

This is coming after a national Dialogue on the use of Social Media held in Obafemi Awolowo University on the 23rd of September.

The first University to witness the training is NIGERIA'S Premier University, University of Ibadan.

If we can find a better way of protest, why don't we use it, We have to be smart with the way our management clamps down on Student Leaders.

Venue is University of Ibadan Students Union Chambers
Time :4PM
Date, 23rd of September,2016.

All participants should come with their smart phones and notepads with an open mind for discussion.

There would be a manual for the training/discussion and it goes for 300naira, while the program is free itself. We can protest in University of Ibadan through the Social Media, lets discuss how that can be done.

There would be registration at the venue, as African Dialogue on the use of Social Media will hold next year and all participants will be invited.

It is important we fix activism into 21st century reality.
The program is endorsed by Office of Speaker, University of Ibadan,Students Union, Public Relations Officer , University of Ibadan, with Proud support from Union of Campus Journalists,Ibadan.

NB:Training is for just 100 Student leaders recommended by SRC leadership and CEC .
